This wonderful treatment will help bring balance to the mind and body after delivery and is recommended within the first 12 weeks of giving birth. Estrogen increases at a significant level during pregnancy and then decreases after delivery, massage will help bring your hormones back into balance, as will increasing your circulation and helping your lymphatic system process excess fluids which increase by 50% during pregnancy. We spend so much time holding our newborns, we don't often realise how quickly the tension builds up, especially in the neck, back and shoulders. Postnatal massage helps relieve pain, reduce muscle tension and encourages a better nights sleep. For mums who have delivered via a vaginal delivery, you can have a postnatal massage as soon as you feel comfortable. For mums who have delivered via a caesarean delivery, 4-6 weeks is recommended or until you feel comfortable laying on your tummy. Although postnatal massage is recommended, please check with your GP or midwife to make sure you are suitable for massage, especially if you have any medical conditions or if there were any complications during labour. This is a well deserved moment of bliss for all mums.

Booking Policy

Last minute cancellations and no shows have a huge impact on our business. To prevent this and to make it fair for all clients the following booking policy applies. We understand that sometimes you may need to change your appointment but we ask that you do so 48 hours prior to your appointment start time. Cancelling or rescheduling in less than 48 hours will result in loss of the appointment. Refunds will only be issued within 48 hours of the booking being made. Failure to arrive on time for your treatment may result in the appointment time being reduced. If you fail to show up to your appointment a cancellation email will be sent to you and any future bookings you make will be cancelled. This booking policy also applies to all bookings made via gift voucher or eGift cards. Gift vouchers and eGift cards are non transferable and non refundable.
